Australian Studies Association of Japan (ASAJ) 33th Annual Conference was held on 18th and 19th June as a hybrid conference (Venue: Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan). CTR researcher, Dr. Hayato Nagai (Faculty of Tourism, Wakayama University) presented at the Australia-Japan Foundation (AJF) Sponsored Symposium ‘Transnational Flows of People and Culture: Issues of Australian Tourism in Covid-19 crisis’. Mr. Paul Summers (Tourism and Event Queensland) and Dr. Monica Chien (The University of Queensland) also joined the symposium as speakers, and Dr. Kumiko Kawashima (Rikkyo University) and Dr. Sho Kashiwagi (Kanagawa University) participated as discussants. The symposium was moderated by CTR researcher Dr. Michiyo Yoshida (Faculty of Tourism, Wakayama University).
