[Conference presentation] Teaching Tourism Walking Conference

The Teaching Tourism Walking Conference (TeToWaCo 2024) was held between 30th August and 1st September in the Hokkaido University, Japan.
From Wakayama University, CTR researcher, Project Assistant Professor Daijiro Yamagishi (Faculty of Tourism) presented his research titled, "Proximatising community-based learning programme in Japan: Rethinking local–university collaboration for transformative tourism education". He presented on Community-Based Learning (CBL) in Japan, particularly with regard to its role in tourism education, and how CBL can contribute to the mutual transformation of students and local communities.
And CTR Visiting Junior Fellow, Ms. Yuka Hanai also presented her research.
