Overview
As a regional higher education institution with a community vocation, local communities remain an essential axis of tourism research undertaken at Wakayama University. Consequently, the Community Unit’s approach to tourism aims to address the social and economic challenges that affect these communities, while development objectives are undertaken from the perspective of community development and revitalization.
