Project summary
Destination organisations has been seen as an important player for increasing both domestic and international tourists and coordinating stakeholders for destinations’ sustainable tourism development. The DMO research unit aims to understand and investigate the future role of destination organisations, especially those registered in the Japanese government’s DMO program, in destination management and regional economic growth by having close collaborations with both public and private sectors.
