Project summary
Service innovations based on widespread smartphone use are transforming tourism away from the old "walking around with a map" model. The addition of smartphone-based virtual information also increases the entertainment value of tourist trips. As a result, a previously untapped segment of visitors is engaging in tourism. These visitors have different motivations from conventional tourists. In other words, they represent a new emerging market. Changing services open up new markets.
